Please join the IOTA RDSIS on April 18th from 6pm - 7pm EST for a workshop on Wheelchair evaluation and documentation. Getting an order to write a letter of medical necessity for a client’s wheelchair can be overwhelming and daunting. However, the need continues to grow for more therapists to effectively evaluate clients and efficiently provide the necessary documentation for insurance approval. Johanna Dix, the occupational therapist who performs wheelchair evaluations at Franciscan Health’s multi-disciplinary Wheelchair Seating and Positioning Clinic in Indianapolis, is passionate about equipping all therapists to feel confident, effective, and efficient about providing the documentation needed for their client’s mobility equipment. Join her for a 1-hr session to get tips, tricks, and updates regarding the world of wheeled mobility.
