Two elderly women, ages 81 and 89, found a new way to use their adaptive equipment: self-defense. In this story which aired on a local Baltimore newscast in September of 2008, the women defended their home against a would-be burglar. No follow-up on the story was available, but at the time that it aired everyone was doing okay.
