Join our Southeast and Southwest Districts for "You Can't Talk About That In An Inservice!" This year’s presentation will have a light-hearted yet bluntly honest focus on the biopsychosocial aspect of limb loss. The presentation will feature a wide variety of pre-recorded videos of prosthetic patients speaking openly and honestly on topics that “You Can’t Talk About That in an Inservice!” such as sex, self-image, feminine hygiene, public toileting, pregnancy as an amputee, and going out in public with their family members. The course will conclude with insightful messages from our patients to fellow amputees and therapists including the phrase “I wish someone would have told me______”.
