Biography

I have worked as a Pediatric Occupational Therapist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for 15 years.  I have had a strong interest in hand therapy since college.  During my time at Children’s I have been blessed with the opportunity to be part of the Hand and Upper Extremity Team, CP Team, BBPI Team, Rheumatology Team, and Rett Clinic Team.  This has allowed me to grow in my assessment and treatment of a large variety of pediatric hand patients including the specialty areas of rheumatology, hypermobility, brachial plexus injury, cerebral palsy, arthrogryposis, splinting and serial casting.   I attained my hand certification in 2021. I love the challenge and enjoy the continued learning that it takes to work in pediatrics and hand therapy.

Biography

I am a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) with specialized training in developmental pediatrics, hand therapy, rheumatology, hypermobility, brachial plexus injury, cerebral palsy, arthrogryposis, splinting and serial casting, compression/lymphedema, and craniosacral therapy. I began my career at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in 1995 and am currently a member of the Hand and Upper Extremity team and Rheumatology team.  I had the privilege to sit for and pass the CHT exam in 2021.  I love working with children as I am always learning something new from them and the simple things that bring them joy.
